Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 19, 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dinnect Business web-based platform (“Service”), provided by Dinnect Ltd., a company incorporated in Estonia. The Service enables businesses to create profiles, publish menus, manage franchise pages, and drive foot traffic through the Dinnect mobile app using networking and location features. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which details how we handle your data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Eligibility

The Service is offered to businesses with the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You represent that you are an authorized representative of a business entity, at least 18 years old, and that your use complies with EU and US laws. You may not use the Service if we have previously terminated your account for violating these Terms or if your use breaches applicable laws.

Your License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your business’s internal purposes, subject to these Terms. This license allows you to create and manage business profiles, publish menus, set up franchise pages, and enable location features (e.g., map visibility, road tracking) to attract Dinnect app users. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the Service, or use it in violation of these Terms or laws.

Our Rights

We own the Service, retaining full intellectual property rights in its design, features, and content provided by us. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service—or any part—at our discretion, with or without notice, to improve functionality, meet legal requirements, or protect users. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in harmful conduct, as determined by us in accordance with applicable laws.

User Conduct

You agree to use the Service responsibly to maintain a secure and lawful environment. You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information in profiles, menus, or franchise pages (e.g., inaccurate business details, menu prices, or ads).
  • Publish content (e.g., menu photos, descriptions) that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or infringes on others’ rights, such as intellectual property or privacy.
  • Misuse the Service by spamming, hacking, scraping data, or disrupting functionality.
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized users or resell access to the Service. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate your account for violations to protect the Service and its users, in line with applicable laws.

Business Profiles, Menus, and Franchise Pages

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of data provided in your business profiles, menus, and franchise pages, including business name, ID, category, working hours, services (e.g., seating types, payment methods, ambiance, accessibility), address, menu items (prices, ingredients, photos, descriptions), and location settings. You represent that you have the right to share such data and that it complies with applicable laws, including advertising and consumer protection regulations. Dinnect is not liable for any actions, errors, or consequences arising from your data or content. We may review or remove content that violates these Terms or harms the Dinnect ecosystem.

Franchise Pages

You may create franchise pages for multiple locations under your parent business account, each with its own profile, menu, services, and location settings. Each page must comply with these Terms, and you are responsible for ensuring authorized employees manage accounts securely. We reserve the right to limit or suspend franchise features for misuse or non-compliance.

Location Features

By enabling map visibility or road tracking, you allow Dinnect app users to view your business location and receive navigation guidance. You agree to provide accurate address data and consent to our use of this data for marketing purposes (e.g., promoting your business to nearby users), as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

Payment and Subscriptions

Basic access to the Service is free to help businesses increase foot traffic. Premium features (e.g., promoted listings, sponsored ads, advanced analytics) require a paid subscription, billed monthly or as specified. You agree to pay fees on time via the provided payment method. We may suspend access for non-payment after notice. All fees are non-refundable, and cancelling a subscription terminates access to premium features without refunds. We may adjust pricing with prior notice; continued use constitutes acceptance.

Data Responsibilities

If you upload data (e.g., customer lists for ad targeting, menu photos), you represent that you have the legal right to use and share it under applicable laws, including GDPR and CCPA. You are solely responsible for your data processing activities, and Dinnect is not liable for your misuse of data. We process data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Liability Limits

We provide the Service “as is” and aim for reliability, but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—such as lost profits, data, or business opportunities—arising from your use of the Service, including issues with profiles, menus, or location features. Your use is at your own risk, and our total liability will not exceed the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved under Estonian jurisdiction, subject to mandatory laws in your region, such as EU business protections or US state-specific rights.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. We will notify you via email or through the Service before material changes take effect. Continued use after updates means you accept the changes. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
